Sephora VIB Rouge Sale Wish-List

Sephora VIB Rouge Sale Wish-List

Hey everyone!

With the semi-annual sale coming up this Friday (4/26) for VIB Rouge Members, I wanted to share a few items I’m planning on picking up!

Sephora only has their big sales event twice a year, so you have to stock up while you can! For this post, I’ll just chat about new products I’ve never purchased before.

**Because I’m constantly buying makeup/skincare and there’s nothing I really “NEED”, I’m trying to keep my budget on the lower side. I own so many products I haven’t even tried yet! I’m going to try my best to only spend around $100!

Dates of Sephora Sale:

  • VIB Rouge Members (20% off): April 26 — May 6
  • VIB Members (15% off): May 2 — May 6
  • Beauty Insider Members (10% off): May 2 — May 6

*This is totally NOT sponsored in any way: If y’all aren’t beauty insiders with Sephora yet, you should sign up! It’s free to join, and you can acquire points to get free samples, birthday gifts, access to discount events, etc.!

ABH Norvina Palette

  • Retails for $42.00 USD

I absolutely ADORE the ABH palettes I have in my collection! Soft Glam and Modern Renaissance are some of my all-time favorites and I’m just blown away by the quality of the shadows.

When the Norvina palette originally launched, it wasn’t an immediate set of shades that spoke to me and I wasn’t planning on purchasing it. Over the last few months, I’ve been uncharacteristically in more of a cool-toned mood for eyeshadow looks. I think the set of shades in Norvina are very versatile, with a great balance of cool and warmer/neutral tones. I swatched the sample palette in either Sephora or Ulta one day, and it took everything I had to not take it home that day— SO gorgeous!

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with purple makeup lately, so this palette is basically all my color inspiration in a single palette. I love that the purples in Norvina look more purple-pink rather than purple-grey, which is more flattering for my skin tone. It’s also got some pastel shimmer shades that I’m just dying to play with! I can’t wait to add this beauty to my collection!

St. Tropez Gradual Tan Watermelon Infusion Body Lotion

  • Retails for $25.00 USD

I’ve always loved St. Tropez’s line of self-tanning products. I think the brand is one of the best on the market, and I love that the line has a variety of different formulations to work for any skin type.

I am a HUGE fan of anything watermelon-scented, so of course I am super eager to try this out! I’ve been really focused on hydrating and softening my skin for summer, so anything that claims to moisturize while creating a subtle tan is a major plus. The lotion is also infused with hylauronic acid — one of my favorite skincare ingredients at the moment. This product just gives me all the warm and sunny summertime feels!☀️🍉

Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette

  • Retails for $55.00 USD

I mean…..I think the gorgeousness in this palette just says it all.

This beauty looks like a peachy-pinky, glowy dream! I ADORE ND’s eyeshadows, so I’ve been really curious to try out some of her face products. This one has 2 cream formulas and 2 powders, and I need them all in my life! I’m SO excited to put this all over my face!

Some Single Eyeshadow Love

Some Single Eyeshadow Love

Hey Everyone!

I recently discovered the brand Sydney Grace from a few influencers on YouTube, Instagram, etc.. I was really impressed by the reviews and I love supporting smaller brands, so of course I had to see what all the fuss was about. Not fully knowing what to expect, I ordered 3 of the pressed pigment shadows.

SO. MUCH. BEAUTY.

I immediately started snapping photos. The delivery arrived super quick, and was thoughtfully packaged in a sweet little box. Then of course, I had to get to swatching!

The pressed pigment shadows come individually as 1.8g/0.064 oz of product and retail for $6.00 USD each.

Initially, I was amazed by the smooth, buttery texture of the shadows. They swatched effortlessly and seem to glide right on my skin with an almost cream-like finish. So beautiful! The pigmentation is rich with great color payoff —the shades I have almost seem to morph into multiple tones in different types of lighting. So complex and duotone-y! It wasn’t easy narrowing down which ones to purchase, but finally I decided to buy the shades “Hot Stuff”, “Blushed”, and “Peace”

Swatches in natural sunlight:   Left to Right — “Hot Stuff”, “Blushed, “Peace”

Swatches in darker light with flash:

Individual Swatches:

Hot Stuff” —I especially love the unique olive/brown/red complexity of this one.

“Blushing” — Rose-gold/light copper perfection.

Peace” —A delicious purple/mauve taupe.

So far, I am absolutely in LOVE with these shadows and how great they perform. I think they are at a very affordable price point for the outstanding quality and pigmentation. I can’t wait to play with these a little more and create some fun looks!

As I mentioned, I love supporting lesser known brands, and I hope Sydney Grace gains more attention for all the fantastic products. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend y’all check this company out and see what you think! They also have other product varieties -(cream shadows, loose glitter, matte shadows, blush, highlights, etc.), I definitely want to try out more!

Has anyone purchased anything from this brand yet? Please share your thoughts!
